Hmm......as i promised some people b4,finally i had decided to use my blog to do this...a new function to my blog...
It's all about telling some basics about mandarin,so if u r interested u can follow wat's coming up next...
Well,my chinese not really good oso,so if u all who know chinese very well find out that i did some mistakes regarding the topic being posted here,pls tell me,the cbox is there for u all the time...thanx...

Chapter 1 : Lesson 1

Yup,i m the guy that in charge of the 1st lesson in the 1st chapter...so 1st of all,as u all know,since u r playing the game,u must follow the rules of the game,n in our classes,the only rule is no rule,so u no need to worry that u will get no attendance if u're late for class,n oso there is no such thing that if ur attendance is less than 90%,u r not allowed to take exams,becoz there's no attendance taken...

How troublesome,but anyway let's get started,as u all know our 1st chapter is about pronounciation...so in mandarin,there r 2 ways of denotation for pronounciation...one we called it as han yu pin yin,which is well known to most of the people,n another one is called zhu yin fu hao...
Han yu pin yin is a set of denotation using alphabets that most of the people r familiar with...it's being used in alot of countries,including china n malaysia...On the other hand,zhu yin fu hao is an older way of denotation using some symbols,which is being used last time in china n also in malaysia,so ur parents may know about it,but now only taiwan is still using it...so here,we will only talk about the usage of han yu pin yin...

Just like in english or malay or french or german,we have vowels n consonants...n in this 1st lesson,we shall talk about the vowels...
So how many vowels does han yu pin yin have?try to answer this question...dun worry,i won't take away ur attendance or ask u to push the wall if u can'tanswer my question...
Is it 5?aeiou as in english n malay?nope,there r 6...in han yu pin yin,the 6 vowels are a,o,e,i,u,ü...
Notice that?i m not putting it in alphabetical order,this is becoz by using this order,it will help u later when u learn about the tone,so for the mean time,just memorize it in this order...

So how each of the vowels is pronounced?
1st,let's talk about "a"...if u know malay,it'll b very easy for u,becoz it's pronounced exactly the same as "a" in malay...for english,it sounds like the "u" in the word "bus"...
Next is "o"...again it sounds like the "o" in malay,in english it's pronounced like "o" in "rod"...
For "e",it sounds like the "e" in "pergi" in malay,for english,it sounds like the 1st "u" in "furniture"...
Now,we move on to "i",it sounds the same as the "i"in malay,n it sounds like the "i" in the word "this" for english...
For "u",in malay,it sounds again the same as "u",but for english,it sounds like the "u" in the word "full"...
Lastly,"ü"...there's no similar sound as i can find in malay,not sure for english...u got to curl ur lips into a circle then try to say out the letter "E"...

Haha,maybe u all can't get wat i meant just now at all,but dun worry,we can get to our studio to listen to how each vowel is pronounced...u can try to click on each of the vowel above,this will lead u to a page where u can hear how each is pronounced...
So try to practice how to pronounce these vowels,until u can master it... Oh ya,if there's any question for me,just leave a comment or put a msg in the cbox...

Chapter 0

Hey,i m the mysterious person in charge of this institute...normally people will just denote an unknown with a letter of 'X',u can do the same to me also,but i m a professor,so i think u shud now know wat to call me......

Our insitute campus is still under construction,as u can c in the pic,it's monsoon here,so the construction of our campus had been slowed down alot...so for the mean time,we will use this place 1st for our teaching...(actually the rental here is not cheap,sshhh...dun tell the owner here)

Since the main building of our institute is still under construction,so we haven't come up with the name for the institute,we will name it after everything is done...

Ok,let's start with the introduction of the course,or the so-called chapter 0...different people will take the classes for different chapters or lessons,dun worry,u will get to know them soon...1st chapter we will talk about the pronounciation,since without knowing the pronounciation,it's hard to introduce new words to u all...

Languages can b classified into 2,one is that when u look at the words,u get to know how it's pronounced but u will not know the meaning,another one is that by just looking at the word,u have no idea how to pronounce it,but u might get the meaning of the word.most of the languages used in this world belong to the 1st group,however chinese belongs to the 2nd one,since some words take the shape of the objects they meant...

I think that's all for the introduction,further introduction for each chapter will b done by my colleagues,so have fun learning,i might come out once in a while again to c how everything progresses...cya then!!

Contender 2 { Tuesday, July 25, 2006

finally the 2nd season of the boxing reality show--the contender is OUT!!!! hmmm...among most of the reality shows,i still think the contender has the most "humanity" in it,rather than cheating n conspiracy...(of coz rock star INXS oso dun really have much cheating in it,since everyone got to show their own singing skills to become the lead singer in INXS,but i only watched few episodes of this) (oh ya,i heard there's another rock star is showing now,but too bad,no tv in my room NOW,so got to leave it too!!)
in contender,those fighters have different reasons to fight,mostly for their family,like wife,kids,girlfriend,brothers,parents...sometimes really touching,since most of them come from a moderate family,to give their loved ones a better living,they joined the contests...n true friendships do develope among the boxers,they became like bros,this is the thing u can hardly find in most of the reality show (ya,of coz rob n amber in Survivor r different,lol)
in the 2nd season,it's Sugar Ray Leanord who hosts the show,not Sylvester Stallone anymore...but Sylvester Stallone is still one of the executive producers.Sugar Ray is a legendary boxer who won the gold medal in olympic games in 1976...
yesterday i just finished watching the 1st episode of the 2nd season...well,it turned out that the Gold team captain,Micheal Clark who thought that he can take down a bigger guy,lost to K-9,Cornelius Bundrage,by majority decision...the fighting scenes r very intense,since Cornelius was leading for the 1st 2 rounds,while Micheal took huge revenge to K-9 in the 3rd n 4th rounds...but finally Cornelius almost KO Micheal in the last round,n Micheal's journey in the Contender ended there...n his gloves were hung up 1st on the wall of the Contender gymnasium...

蜘蛛結網的故事告訴我們，無論做甚麼都要有毅力，絕對不能輕言放棄．．．因為蜘蛛想要結網是非常艱辛困難的．．．可是為甚麼這裡的蜘蛛似乎能夠輕而易舉的把網給結起，而且是以驚人的速度結起的喔！！它們能夠在兩輛電單車之間在短短的幾個小時裡面結起網來，真是太荒謬暨令人難以置信，可是這一切都是擺在眼前的事實．．．正如我房裡的蜘蛛網，處處可見，就一個星期，便能在床與小桌之間結網，太厲害了．．．
不說蜘蛛，談霉．．．還以為只是小事一樁，他們竟然能夠迅速成長，穿透櫥裡的每一個角落，還侵噬我的大衣．．．還以為就只有大衣遭殃，其是它們已經偷偷地把整個衣櫥給佔領．．．
至於螞蟻，更是生命力頑強，完全驅逐不完．．．

人類要是每一個都像它們的話，人人都會成功嗎？錯，是地球很快就會被擠滿．．．

Anti-fungus action part 1 successful!!the fungus in my cupboard was completely destroyed,2nd part of the action will b carried out soon within few days time to destroy those on my bookshelves....
there's lots of spider web oso in my cupboard...the speed those spiders made their webs r incredible,within no time they can bridge the side of my bed n the small table beside it...n dun u all think that sometime while walking to dissection hall from lecture hall,u will suddenly felt the spider web just stick onto ur face??i had this experience few times b4...
oh yea,finally my long lost labcoat had been found,YEAH!!!!!

Supremo Ball

Supremo ball,overall not bad,n luckily i didn't eat since 10am morning,so get to fill my stomach on that night...yaya,single and available again,hahaha...who say go ball sure got to eat japanese toufu?no way man!!

Good job for batch 17,for hisyam who's the host,tan who's one of the organizer,pohock's whose origami is on the msg board,n of coz bob,the mr.Popular,n Susu,the new generation dare-to-talk,male-wanna-be miss Popular n miss Supremo who think guys have more fun in the bed!!!congrates!!! n not to forget the our batch supremo badminton champion Mr.......DY??eeeyyy,u can't do like that just to get a cert,pls return it to Lucifer ok,yayaya,i know u went there to support even it was raining at the time,but most of the time u r playing golf there,not badminton...if supremo next time got golf,u can go n play n get ur OWN cert!!

Event after Supremo??photo taking session??blue water clubbing???nah,it's go-kart,fast n furious 4,manipal drifting at 12am...hahahah.......n oso post-supremo dota games.......

人權，似乎不怎麼被一些團體及組織所重視．．．
Ｂｌｏｇ可說是網上日記，只不過這個日記是所有人都能讀得到的，所以已變成是另一種抒發情感，以及表達自我的管道．
正因為一個人在自己的ｂｌｏｇ上，提出一些關于恐怖襲擊及對政府不利的言論，結果遭到政府封殺其ｂｌｏｇ，陰差陽錯之下，竟然封殺所有人的ｂｌｏｇ，真實殃及了我們這些無辜且可愛的池魚，嘔．．．哈哈．．．他們應該是看不懂中文，不然恐怕我的ｂｌｏｇ也將遭到封殺了．所以如果有一天發現再也不能讀到我的ｂｌｏｇ時，你們就可以知道他們是看得懂中文的！！所以，別以為他人不明白你們的語言，而在人面前說人壞話，因為往往這些人是聽得明白的，我們身邊的幾位朋友就是最好的例子．．．

BLOG,due to one person's blog,internet provider accidentally BLOCKED every one's blog,hence "HOW CAN U BLOCK THE BLOG!!!"
BLOCK,no wonder we can't access to our own blogs here,becoz they were being blocked...n we had finished our 4th block in the 1st year...
UNBLOCK,finally this afternoon,the ban had been removed,as well as to our block theory exams...heheheh...
for the pass few days,i was like living in US,according to my circadian rhythm...luckily now i m back to india,n looking forward to tomolo's...ehhhemm...of coz not viva,is SUPREMO BALL...yayaya,i know someone out there is laughing at me now coz they r wondering wat i m looking forward to...hai...n my coat got fungus grow on it,sad man,luckily found a place for dry clean,so tomolo should b getting it back...
well,let's pray for those r lost in the explosion in mumbai...when this will end??!!afraid noone holds the answer for this...

小時後寫作文，常常會用蜗牛來比喻他們力氣大，因為能夠整天扛著自己的屋子到處走．但是他們也可能未必想這樣子，誰願意一直扛著自己的屋子滿街走的，要不是他們爬得慢，想回家睡覺時也得爬上半天才能回到家去（但也有可能是因為他們的殼太重了，才會那麼慢）試想想，沒有了他們的殼，它們豈不是變成水蛭了！！！
所以蜗牛從沒體驗過搬家的感覺．．．

so,last sunday is all about house to me,not becoz i watched the series of House the whole day,in fact i haven't even started to watch it,but going to...it's becoz finally the long lost 5th member of our future house in manipal had been found!!!not only that actually my family also moved into the new house in melaka...so,i m no longer a homeless guy...err...now still a "hostel" guy,n some more is the expensive kind of hostel,who wans to stay in this kind of hostel,which has curfew at 12am but locking u in the hostel from outside...dangerous...n the number for the fire brigade is sooooo long,tell me who can remember it,not even our toppers i think...
this post is being delayed so many days,hai......but if being posted few days ago,none of the ppl in india can view it oso (pls scroll this page upwards,if u really dunno the reason)

天使遺羽，被遺忘的天使，一個沒落的國度．．．夢幻般的世界，存在於虛擬的空間裡．．．一切也許都是虛象，卻讓人沉溺其中無法自拔，因為一股難以言喻的魔力，緊緊的捉著每一個人的心窩，即使意識到這只不過是夢境，卻寧可永遠也不醒過來，繼續沉淪于這個沒有丑陋紛爭的世界．．．
最近看過了朋友們一個個精心設計與撰寫的不落格（ｂｌｏｇ），突然也心癢癢地想為自己打造一個較為美觀的不落格．．．但無論如何還是覺得自己有點廢，因為畢竟這是我的第二個不落格．．．還好的是，這兩個都是獻給不同的讀者，不至於顯得沒事找事做．．．
為此，到是花了整個下午的時間，希望能夠找到自己喜歡的ｂｌｏｇｓｋｉｎ，但最後還是無功而返，只好暫時先用這一個，希望能夠在未來為它從新換上另一套衣裳．．．希望在這個空間裡，能夠給予大家無盡的想像與夢幻，彷彿進入另一個國度．．．

（後續篇：原本決定好了的ｂｌｏｇｓｋｉｎ竟然不能顯示中文字，耽擱了數天後，在逼不得已的情況之下，決定再次撤換，雖然不再夢幻，但我會想辦法解決此難題．．．Ｔ．Ｔ

yayaya, i know that i m typing in Chinese, dun get angry 1st, as u c,if u r patient enuff to read as far as this,u get to c the english version for my very 1st blog here...so,take a deep breath n cool down 1st b4 u read further...hey stop,i know u sure think i m lame here,if u think so means u r still angry,so dun read further...(oops sound like bijlani d)

this is actually my 2nd blog,yayaya,i know i know,very free huh?but i saw more freedom to setup n customize our blog here,so i chose to create this,moreover,2 different blogs serve different readers,so i dun think i m wasting my time here...
